What do you think helps more to learn English, know grammar or watch movies?

I would say if you are new to the language, grammar is more helpful for beginners. Once you have an intermediate level, watching movies is probably more helpful, but you have to do your best to watch them without subtitles. It is much harder without subtitles, but that is how you learn to understand what you hear. You cannot practice listening very well with subtitles.
